VUEROID APP INITIAL SETUP TUTORIAL

 

 

 

1.0  APP DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLING

 

1.1 App Store Download

1. Search for "Vueroid" and download the app.

2. For Android users, please download the app from "Google Play".

3. For IOS users, please download the app from "App Store"

 

1.2 Wi-Fi Application Connection

1. Turn "ON" the Wi-Fi button on the dashcam.

2. Open Vueroid App.

3. Tap on "OK" once the pop-up screen is shown and it says "Connect to device".

4. In the Wi-Fi network listing, click on the VUEROID dashcam SSID in the form of "VUEROID_D20_Q2_XXXXXX"

5. Key in the password. Default password is "12345678"

 

1.3 Wi-Fi Application Start-up Screen

 

1. Wi-Fi Status     : Display Wi-Fi status and the name of the connected device.

2. Wi-Fi Connect  : Enable or Disable Wi-Fi connection.

3. Live Viewer      :  View the front / rear live stream

4. File Viewer       : Find the recording files in different folders

5. History              : Find the trip data and travel routes by dates.

6. Setting               : Allow user to get unit’s settings switched. 

 

2.0  SETTING

 

2.1 Live Viewer

 

1.  Left/Right Reversal  : Switch to Left / Right viewing image.

2.  Screenshot                : Capture the display image.

3.  Full Screen                : Display the full screen

4.  CH (CH01/CH02)     : Switch to Front (CH01) / Rear (CH02) camera image. 

5.  ADAS                       : Initialize the ADAS calibration setting. Enable or disable following functions       

 

 

2.2 Safety Camera Alert 

 

2.2.1 Safety Camera Setting

 

1. Safety Camera Alert - When the vehicle approaches or passes the speed limit zone, the safety camera alert system will collect GPS signals and safety camera data.

2. Click on "Initial Setting" to choose the Safety Camera Country Setting.

3. SGP = Singapore

 

4. To enable or disable the safety camera alert, click on the Live Viewer

5. Click on "ADAS". 

6. Click on Dashcam Setting Icon.

7. To "Enable" swipe to the "Right" and to "Disable" swipe to "Left".

8. Once selected, click "OK"

 

 

2.3 Advanced Driver- Assistance System (ADAS) 

 

2.3.1 Setting

 

 

1. Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) consists of 

• Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
• Front Vehicle Start Alarm (FVSA)

2. ADAS can be Enable or Disable by each function accordingly.

3. To "Enable" or "Disable"the ADAS, click on the Live Viewer

4. Click on "ADAS". 

5. Click on Dashcam Setting Icon

6. To "Enable" swipe to the "Right" and to "Disable" swipe to "Left" accordingly to user preferences. 

7. Once selected, click "OK"

 

 

2.3.2 Adjustment of ADAS Alignment 

 

1. Adjustment of alignment of ADAS setting can be set by moving the ADAS grid line.

2. Go to Live Viewer then select ADAS setting to adjust the ADAS

3. Select CH1 - Front View Liew Viewer

 

4. Touch and move the screen to align the line displayed on the ADAS setting screen.

5. Align the "Vehicle Center" line to the vehicle center alignment.

6. Align the "Horizon" line to the above line of the road.

7. Align the "Bonnet" line to the vehicle bonnet alignment.

8. Press  to save the setting.

 

2.4 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - Recording

 

To change the dashcam setting , click on "Setting" icon. 

 

2.4.1 Recording - Recording Quality 

1. Choose the type of "Recording Quality" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "HIGH" or "MID" or "LOW".
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.
   
   
4. Once saved, the dashcam will restart itself. 
5. Please note all the videos will be erased once is formatted after this setting has been changed. 

 

2.4.2 Recording - Discharge Cut-Off Voltage

"Discharge Cut-Off Voltage" saver allows user to choose a few pre set voltage cut off options.

The dashcam will stop recording once detected pre set low voltage or cut off time (whichever comes first) during the parking mode recording.

1. Click on "Discharge Cut Off Voltage" to be set.
   
   
2. Select the voltage value to be set.
   
   
3. Click "OK" once selected.

2.4.3 Recording - Discharge Cut-Off Time

"Discharge Cut-Off Time" allows user to choose a few pre set timer cut off options or disable the timer cut off. 

The dashcam will stop recording once detected rhe pre set low voltage or cut off time (whichever comes first) during the parking mode recording.

1. Click on "Discharge Cut-Off Time" to be set.
   
   
2. Select the cut time to be set.
   
   
3. Click "OK" once selected.

 

2.4.4 Recording - Auto Parking

To enable or disable parking mode recording

Parking Record Auto  recording only able to activate if the dashcam power supply cable is hard wired.

1. Click on "Auto Parking" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "ON" or "OFF".
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.

 

 

2.4.5 Recording - Parking Mode Event Alert

 

Notification of event alert can be turn on or turn off when there is a impact detected during parking mode.

1. Click on "Parking Mode Event Alert" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "On" or "Off".
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.

 

2.4.6 Recording - Parking Record

 

During the parking mode recording, user can choose either based on time lapse recording or recording after motion detected.

1. Click on "Parking Record" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "Time Lapse" or "Motion".
   
   
3. Click "OK" once selected.

 

2.4.7 Recording - Driving Record

 

During the driving mode recording, user can choose either based on time lapse recording or normal recording.

1. Click on "Driving Record" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "Normal Recording" or "Time Lapse".
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.
   
   
4. Once saved, the dashcam will restart itself. 
5. Please note all the videos will be erased once is formatted after this setting has been changed. 

 

2.4.8 Recording - Smart Low Power Mode

Smart Low Power Mode  enhances the dashcam’s energy saving in parking mode.

Once the Smart Low Power Mode option is activated, the dashcam will consume very low power while on standby and only start to record upon an impact.

This will help to conserve the power specially when you be away from your car for a longer period.

1. Click on "Smart Low Power Mode" to be set.
   
   
2. Select the pre set timer to activate Smart Low Power Mode.
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.
   
   
   
   
   

2.4.9 Recording - HDR

 

High Dynamic Range (HDR) improves the contrast in a video while maintaining clarity in high contrast or low-light conditions. This means the whole scene looks more like how your eyes see it.

1. Click on "HDR" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "ON" or "OFF".
   
   
3. If selected "ON", user can choose to set Always On all the time or set to a preferred timing.
   
   
4. Click "Confirm" once selected.
   
   
5. Once saved, the dashcam will restart itself. 

 

 

2.4.10 Recording - Rear Camera

 

Rear Camera can be choose accordingly to the purchased rear camera resolution "QHD" 2K or "FHD" Full HD

1. Click on "Rear Camera" to be set.
   
   
2. Select the rear camera resolution.
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.

 

2.4.11 Recording - Parking Record with Rear

 

This function allows user to choose the Rear camera whether to record or not during parking mode.

1. Click on "Rear Record in Parking" to be set.
   
   
2. Select "ON" or "OFF".
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.

2.4.12 Recording - Parking Recording Delay

 

This function allows user to delay parking mode activation based on the pre set timer.

1. Click on "Parking Recording Delay" to be set.
   
   
2. Select the pre set delay timer or no delay.
   
   
3. Click "Confirm" once selected.
   

 

 

 

2.5 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - Event

Settings for impact and motion event sensitivity while driving and parking.

1. Driving Impact Sensitivity

4. Rear Camera Motion Sensitivity

 

 

5. Geofence

 

Geofence uses GPS location data to recognize where your vehicle parks at a designated areas.

On VUEROID dash cams, this feature is called Geofence.

Once a trusted location has been saved, the dashcam automatically will turn off once enter parking mode inside pre set zone.

By using this Geofence disabling parking recording in trusted locations, it helps:

• Reduce unnecessary battery consumption
• Avoid recording hours of uneventful footage
• Preserve storage for important events
• Eliminate the need to manually switch parking mode on or off

 

1. Click on icon "Please add a location in the dashcam" to add a location.
   
   
2. Move the map to the preferred location to be set.
   
   
3. Click "Save this location" to save it.
   
   
4. Position 1 / Location 1 - has been set.
   Radius area can be choose 30m, 50m or 100m
   
   
5. Total can add up to 3 locations.

 

2.6 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - Sound

1. Voice recording    -  It can be turn on or turn off

2. Speaker Volume   - Speaker volume can be adjusted accordingly or to be turn on or turn off.

3. Event Notification            - Notification event alert can be turn on or turn off when there is an impact detected.

4. Click "OK" once selected.

 

2.7 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - Time

 

1. Standard Time       -  Time setting can be set manually or choose the correct region time zone GMT.

2. Summer Time         -   Not applicable to Singapore Region. Default setting is "OFF"

3. Time Setting          -  Manual time setting

4. Click "Confirm" once selected.

 

2.8 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - Memory

 

 

 

1. Memory Allocation   - This function allows user to choose to prioritize the recorded videos in the memory card allocation.

 

2. SD Card Format  - To format the SD Memory card. 

3. Once saved, the dashcam will restart itself. 

2.9 Vueroid Dashcam Setting - System

1. Video Quality   -Video quality setting during playback 
   
   

2. Security LED    -   It can be set to turn "ON or "OFF"

3. Speed               -   To capture the vehicle speed limit. It can be set to turn on "Km/h" , "mph" or turn it "OFF"

4. WI-FI Auto-On   -  Once the Wi-Fi is set to Auto ON, whenever the dashcam starts, the Wi-Fi will be set to turn on.
   
   
   

5. WI-FI AP                               - In the Wi-Fi network listing, click on the VUEROID dashcam SSID in the form of "VUEROID_XXXX_12958f". Allow user to                                                                change the SSID naming.

6. Change Password               - Password can be change with 8-16 alphabet or digits. Default password is "12345678".

7. Firmware Upgrade              -  Any latest firmware will be notified and can be update.

8. Safety Camera Upgrade     -  Any latest safety firmware will be notified and can be update.

9. Voice Pack Upgrade              -  Any latest voice pack will be notified and can be update.
   
   
   
   
   

10. Device Information  - Dashcam model and firmware version will be shown in the information.

11. Initial Setting            - To reboot the dashcam back to factory default setting. All the videos will be erased inside the SD card.

5.0  HISTORY

 

Yours Itineraries can be safely stored in the History Menu so that you can access all your previous car rides.
Plus, Travel-log drive will help drivers or fleet managers to find a vehicle’s current Location using the VUEROID Mobile app.

Captured by the VUEROID Built-in antenna, the vehicle’s location, speed, and direction of travel is shown in the mobile app on a Google maps display.

It logs every trip you take and reports like mileage and trip time, as well as any impact events that might have occurred on the road.
